The department has a forum FELCOM where the students can cultivate their personality by participating in technical and cultural activities. The different activities conducted are:
- The Department of ECE in association with Vihaansudhan Technologies, Mysuru - had organized an eight days Training programme on “Image Processing & IoT”, for the students of ECE, from 19th to 26th Jan 2017. The workshop was conducted by Mr. B S Manusudhan, Director, Miss. Veena, Resource person and Miss. Swati, Resource person from Vihaansudhan Technologies, Mysuru.
- The Department of ECE in association with VI Solutions, Bangalore - had organized a FIVE days Workshop on 19th July 2016 to 23rd July 2016 on “Hands on Training in LabVIEW” for the students of ECE.The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sunil Kumar V, Managing Director, Mr. Manoj Raj D, Resource person and Mr. Rithun, Asst Resource person from VI Solution, Bangalore.
- EC department organized VLSI Hands on Experience for front end design for 21 days by UTL Technologies during June 2009.25 students participated in the workshop and 10 students are working in the VLSI field.
- EC department organized a 5 days LabVIEW Hands on Workshop from 19th JULY 2016 to 23rd JULY 2016.
