Ms. Sinchana S, Ms. Saniya S J and Ms. Tejaswini S Patil of 7th Semester participated in the 8 hours State Level AI Hackathon- Kalp- AI- thon 2025, organized by the Department of AI& ML, Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur, on 17th September 2025.

Ms. K Kruthi of 7th Semester has secured the Special Apreciation in the Ideathon conducted as part of Aavishkar Manthan 2025 organized by IUCEE EWB MCE Student Chapter at MCE, Hassan.

Mr. Gokula K J, Mr. Kiran M and Mr. Raghavendra K G got Financial Assistance from VTU during 2019-20 for their final year project on “Vehicles Speed Detection and Counting System”.

Mr. Ajit S Girigoud, Mr. Nithin G R, Ms. Sahana T J and Ms. Sushma N V got Financial Assistance from VTU during 2019-20 for their final year project on “Implementation of Wireless Robot for Automatic Railway Track Discontinuity Detection”.

Ms. Amrutha C and Mr. Bhyresh K S got Financial Assistance from VTU during 2020-21 for their final year project on “Detection of COVID-19 with Chest X-Ray images”.

Under CSI club, 2 sessions about the OS installation and other software installation were taken for 2nd semester students by Mr. Mohan M C, VIII semester IS&E department.

Ms. Kavya H S, Ms. Sanchitha A and Mr. Sagar H M, VIII Sem, ISE, won First Place  in paper presentation entitled IOT based Terrorist Trapping System in a National Level Conference and Technical Fest “FIESTA-18” held on 28th and 29th April 2018 at Bahubali College of Engineering, Shravanabelagola

Ms. Kavya H S, Ms. Sanchitha A and Mr. Sagar H M, VIII Sem, ISE, secured Third Place in “SRUJANA-2K18” A State Level Paper Presentation held on 30th April 2018 at PES College of Engineering, Mandya

Ms. Priyanka Peter Rego, participated in the event “Quiz and Marathon” in a state level technical fest, INFINITY-15 held at Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan.

Mr. Nigam Jain, presented a paper on “Implementation of Low Cost Radio Assisted Intrusion Detection System” and got Consolation Prize during 29th CSI Karnataka Students Convention held at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore.

Mr. Rajath H C and Ms. Ranjitha S., presented a paper on “Implementation of Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm for Wireless Adhoc Network” during 29th CSI Karnataka Students Convention held at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore.

Mr. Nigam Jain and Ms. Ranjitha S, participated in Technical Quiz and got First Prize during 29th CSI Karnataka Students Convention held at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore.

Mr. Rajath H C and Ms. Ranjitha S., attended a seminar on “Skill Development for Rural Engineering Students” during a National Conference held at RIIIT, Mysore.
